ASSISTANT NEEDED AT SIMS BAYOU NATURE CENTER

The Houston Audubon Society is seeking an environmental educator and nature center assistant to teach a variety of environmental topics at the Sims Bayou Urban Nature Center and at other venues in the Houston area. We are looking for an environmental educator who inspires, informs, and motivates youth of all ages about the wonders of the natural world and about the ecology of southeast Texas in particular. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least one year of teaching experience are required. Spanish language and poetry/art teaching skills are also desirable.
