PARK PACK HOSTS HAPPY HOUR THURSDAY

The Park Pack, young professionals from four Houston parks groups, are hosting a joint happy hour on Thursday, Aug 24, at the Tipsy Clover, 2416 Brazos, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. The groups involved ­ Bayou Buddies from Buffalo Bayou Partnership, Urban Green from Hermann Park Conservancy, Young Saplings from The Park People, and Red Buds from Trees for Houston ­ were nicknamed the Park Pack when they joined forces for a Christmas toy drive.

“The event is open to anyone who would like to attend and find out more about these groups and our parks,” Trudy Smith of the Buffalo Bayou Partnership said. “We don’t define ‘young professional.’”

There will be FREE cover and Tipsy Clover will donate a portion of the night’s bar proceeds to benefit the charitable work of the Park Pack.
