EDWARD O. WILSON IN HOUSTON SEPT 27

The Progressive Forum’s fall schedule includes an appearance by Edward O. Wilson on Wednesday, Sept 27. He will make a stunning audiovisual presentation with themes from his latest book, The Creation: A Meeting of Science and Religion. Wilson is one of the great scientists of our time, winner of two Pulitzer prizes, and an eloquent champion of biodiversity.

The group is also hosting George Soros on Thursday, Sept 7. He was born in Budapest, Hungary, and in his early teens survived both the Nazi and the Russian occupations of Budapest during World War II. He left Hungary for England in 1947, where he graduated from the London School of Economics. He moved to the United States in 1956 and went on to become the worlds most successful financial trader. Soros uses his fortune to undermine the kind of totalitarianism he experienced in his youth.

Tickets to either lecture may be ordered now at the forum website or by calling (832) 251-0706. When the Progressive Forum hosted Al Gore in June, tickets were sold out.
