ALICE’S WONDERLAND FEATURED AT CHILDREN’S MUSEUM ALL MONTH

The Children’s Museum is featuring “Alice’s Wonderland: A Most Curious Adventure” until September 2. This storybook-come-to-life exhibit guides children on a journey that will inspire curiosity, encourage exploration, and help make the unknown more familiar. This hands-on, educational exhibit allows children and families to develop literacy and have rich learning experiences in math and science. Alice or the Mad Hatter will make appearances daily. The exhibit was created and is circulated by the Children’s Discovery Museum in San Jose, California. It has won an award for exhibit design from the American Association of Museums. The museum’s permanent exhibits include the EcoStation, a hands-on, outdoor environmental exhibit that focuses on ecosystems and environmental issues using a native plant garden, a puppet stage, a woodland area, a bayou table, a pond, and a research pavilion.

The museum is at 1500 Binz. Admission is free every Thursday evening from 5 – 8 pm. For more information, see the museum website.
