THE STATE OF THE GREEN BUILDING MARKET

The US Green Building Council meeting on Tuesday, July 25, will feature Jim Broughton of Gilbane Building Company speaking on the current state of the green building market. The presentation draws upon studies, articles, and quotations from green building experts to explain how green buildings make financial sense. It will cover information about key issues that impact decisions to build green or to lease green. It summarizes current data about market growth, construction costs, operating savings, and financial value. The event is from 5 – 7 pm at The Houstonian Hotel, 111 North Post Oak Lane.
