LOCAL AGENCY SEEKS PUBLIC INFORMATION OFFICER

The Galveston Bay Estuary Program is seeking a Public Information Officer. The duties include coordinating media relations and public affairs activities for the program, coordinating responses to general information inquiries, and advising staff and contractors in planning news and educational information. This staffer will develop advertising campaigns for, and assist with, organization and coordination of GBEP’s Biennial State of the Bay Symposia, including agenda development, preparation of presentation “Call for Papers,” venue booking, and development of proceedings.
