VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR SUMMER NATURE CAMP

Jesse H. Jones Park and Nature Center needs volunteer counselors, ages 16 and older, to assist with the park’s free summer nature camp. Volunteers are needed the week of July 10 to 14 or the week of July 17 to 21. Training is provided. Each counselor will work with a group of six 10- to 12-year-olds. Hours are from 8:45 am to approximately 2 pm. Activities include nature study, hikes, canoeing, and a trip to Cockrell Butterfly center. Jones Park is in the Humble area.
