A CALL FOR AWARD NOMINATIONS

Keep Houston Beautiful and the City of Houston sponsor awards, called the Mayor’s Proud Partner Awards, to recognize programs, projects, or individual efforts that create a cleaner, more beautiful Houston. Past award winners include groups that have planted trees, coordinated landscaping installations, improved parks, painted over graffiti, and implemented recycling programs. The award recipients will be recognized during the annual Mayor’s Proud Partners luncheon in November. Nomination forms are available at the Keep Houston Beautiful website. Nominations may be made by any member of the public. They should be mailed to Keep Houston Beautiful, 3000 Richmond Ave, Suite 350, Houston, TX 77098-3188, before Friday, Aug 11.
