FOSTERING SUSTAINABLE BEHAVIOR TALK SUNDAY

The Houston Climate Protection Alliance will meet Sunday, July 2, at 2:30 pm, First Unitarian Universalist Church, 5200 Fannin. Jeff Stark will present a summary of Fostering Sustainable Behavior. The book describes how to craft a campaign to ask people to change their daily habits to more sustainable ones. For example, what are the barriers to and benefits of switching out your light bulbs or using mass transit? Also, Barry Reese, of Houstonians for Global Warming Action, will explain the group’s petition to Houston mayor Bill White asking him to sign the nationally circulating Mayor’s Climate Protection Agreement.
