FISH CONSERVATION MANAGER SOUGHT BY ADVOCACY GROUP

The Ocean Conservancy is seeking a manager to coordinate The Ocean Conservancy’s efforts to promote economic solutions that advance conservation goals in Gulf of Mexico fisheries. Working closely with a team of scientists, lawyers, community organizers, and policy analysts, as well as with the regional fishing community, the manager will research, analyze, and advocate for appropriate economic incentives for conservation. An advanced degree in marine policy, resource economics, marine biology, or a related field, with expertise in the area of natural resource management and conservation, is desired. The position is based in Austin.
