ZIP CODE SEARCH FOR TCEQ NOTICES NOW AVAILABLE

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality announced recently that the database for public notices on the TCEQ web site is now searchable by ZIP code. The change was made in response to a request from a member of the public who suggested that searching by ZIP code would help interested individuals to look for, and focus only on, applications and proposed activities in their immediate area. The database was accessed 1,222 times in April. TCEQ officials anticipate a significant increase in usage as a result of this change. To search the TCEQ public notice database, go to the TCEQ website.
