Texas Community Watershed Partners (TCWP) is hiring a Program Coordinator for its Ecological Restoration Program; this position is part of the Green Infrastructure for Texas (GIFT) project team. The Program Coordinator leads the Wetland Restoration Team volunteer program which focuses on freshwater restoration projects in the Lower Galveston Bay watershed, forms partnerships and pursues additional restoration projects in a variety of habitats, meets grant requirements and deliverables, maintains project budgets, assists with grant applications, provides outreach opportunities to diverse clientele, operates TCWP wetland nurseries, and carries out wetland vegetation monitoring protocols. The qualified candidate will have experience with field work in the Houston region, ecological monitoring practices, working collaboratively with community project partners, recruiting and managing volunteers, grant management, and reporting. A BS in Ecology, Environmental Sciences, Ecological Engineering, Natural Resource Management or similar degree and two years of experience are required.
