CEC Welcomes Murad Alnajjar as an Accounting Intern
Murad Alnajjar is an alumni of the University of Houston-Downtown Marilyn Davis College of Business. Murad graduated with honors from with a Bachelor in Business Administration major in accounting. He is a member of Houston CPA society and currently studying for CPA exams. Murad’s career goals are to improve his business skills in a demanding industry, be productive, and use his knowledge to help him better and differentiate himself from the rest of the world.
Murad contantly strives to improve himself, which is one of the reason he has chosen an internship with the CEC, where he is getting hands-on experience with bookkeeping and financial analysis.
Murad is originally from Palestine, where he lived for 22 years. The Palestinian culture, food, and family means a lot to him. Murad speaks both Arabic and English.
Murad’s favorite food is mansaf. Mansaf is a traditional Jordanian dish made of lamb cooked in a sauce of fermented dried yogurt and served with rice or bulgur. Murad praises his wife Sawsan as the best cook of mansaf in the world. For his hobbies, Murad likes to go to church, visit his family, and read. He is a member of Arab Community Center (ACC) where he organizes dancing sessions where people dance Debkah ( type of Arabic dance), picnics, Christmas Parties, and National Holiday parties.
