Houston City Council Agenda – February 27, 2018

This city considered the following agenda items at the February 27, 2018, Houston Council Meeting. The agenda items include a waterline relocation and municipal setting designation.

36 – Over $570,000 from the Water & Sewer System Consolidated Construction Fund will be used for the US 90A Waterline Relocation. This is an agreement between the city of Houston and Texas Department of Transportation. The project area is Boyce Street (north), Karnes Street (south), UPRR Basin Yard (east), and Harbor Street (west).

39 – 12 acres at 6502 Rusk Street, Harris County, TX has been assigned a Municipal Setting Designation (MSD) by GMY LTD. This location has contamination of various chemicals from industrial metal recycling. The MSD will restrict access to groundwater to protect the public from possible exposure to the contaminants.
