Sam Lott, P.E., will be discussing “What the Future Holds for Fully Automated/Autonomous Vehicles: Evaluating Mobility Benefits, Infrastructure Gaps and Transit Applications.”
Sam is affiliated with Texas Southern University (TSU) Center for Transportation Training and Research and recently formed his a consulting firm called Automated Mobility Services, LLC. Sam’s presentation will cover:
- Automated/connected roadway vehicle technology – mobility challenges and benefits
- Infrastructure gaps that must be filled to support automated vehicle technology
- Transit applications with fully automated operations
- Early deployment of automated transit in Houston’s urban districts
