Environmental Education Resources

Houston Environmental Resources for Educators (HERE) website is a one-stop shop for formal and informal educators, Texas Master Naturalists, Scout leaders, boating and wildlife enthusiasts and child care providers that want to teach about our Greater Gulf Coast. Have content suggestions? Contact Alicia.

Visit our HERE in Houston Facebook page for regular discussion, upcoming professional development opportunities, trends and timely articles about environmental education.

Normally, in person, quarterly meetings of the Environmental Educators Exchange are held the first Wednesday of February, May, August and November.

Due to the pandemic, our events have moved online. Visit our Eventbrite or Facebook page for details.

Our goal is to provide a unique space to rejuvenate, network and learn about trends in environmental education in the Gulf Coast region. These regional meetings are in partnership with the Texas Association for Environmental Education and Texas Children in Nature.
