On June 2, 2018, from 9-10:30 a.m., Artist Boat will share the full vision for the Coastal Heritage Preserve and the Gulf Coast Educational Center.  Artist Boat will present the public education and access plan, habitat management plan, and accomplishments to date of the Coastal Heritage Preserve.  Learn more about the status of the remaining acreage of Marquette and Anchor Bay still at stake for future development. The Texas Water Development Board continues to have funding for public works infrastructure.  Funding is available for drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.  All phases of the projects are eligible; acquisition, planning and design, and construction.  Construction projects include new facilities and repair and rehabilitation of existing facilities.  In addition, the TWDB has $90 million designated for disaster recovery for the region impacted by Hurricane Harvey. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), in cooperation with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), federal, state and Harris County agencies, local officials and industry, invites area community members and stakeholders to attend the community meeting for the San Jacinto River Waste Pits Superfund site.

This meeting will provide the opportunity to ask questions about site activities, the remedial design, the selected remedy, and the remediation process.
