An annual tradition of the NPSOT Houston Chapter is its holiday dinner party. On Thursday, December 20, 2017, at 7:00 pm you can join fellow NPSOT Houston Chapter members and friends at Maggiano’s Little Italy at 2019 Post Oak Blvd. Houston, Texas 77056. Festivities start promptly at 7:00 pm. It is said that dining at Maggiano’s with their Italian–American cuisine is reminiscent of a Sunday dinner at grandmother’s house, The recipes are mostly simple, authentic classics, but some are over the top. At the event, everyone orders from the menu and covers their own expenses for meals and drinks. Hawks, falcons, owls and more await you at Houston Audubon’s Raptor Photo Shoots. You will have the opportunity to photograph Houston Audubon’s education raptors in an intimate setting at the Houston Audubon Raptor & Education Center. Whether you use a simple point and shoot or serious photography equipment, you will enjoy meeting and learning about these awesome birds. Light refreshments will be served on the deck for all to enjoy during the shoot. Space is limited to 15 participants.

The 34th annual Fort Bend Regional Vegetable Conference is a celebration of vegetable production along the upper Gulf Coast region. Varying counties join Fort Bend to put on this event together, focusing on teaching sustainable practices to help producers maximize efficiencies and profitability.
