Gulf Coast Bird Observatory’s Spring Fling is an opportunity to see and celebrate the return of migratory songbirds as they arrive at stopover habitat along the Teas Gulf Coast. This is great time to enjoy the wide variety of species that migrate through Texas dressed in their spring finery. This year, Spring Fling will take place at the Quintana Neotropical Bird Sanctuary from April 7 to May 6 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. daily. For more information, visit gcbo.org.
The JJPV invites everyone to its monthly program and meeting. Ages 16+.

Anyone requiring special assistance to participate in these programs should contact the nature center. Programs meet at the Nature Center unless otherwise noted. Every Thursday, rain or shine, from 2 pm to 6 pm (3 pm to 7 pm during Daylight Saving Time), Lake Houston Area residents visit Kingwood Town Center Park to pick up produce, fresh bread, homemade soaps, herbs, flowers, plants, Indian food, and more from Kingwood Farmers Market.
The Kingwood Famers Market makes our community stronger because shoppers have the opportunity to meet the faces behind their food and vendors get chance to meet and connect with the communities they nourish.
For information on becoming a vendor email Mike at mike@towncenterevents.com.
