NASA’s DR. JAMES HANSEN IN PROGRESSIVE FORUM’S FALL LINEUP

The Progressive Forum, which presents great minds from all the fields of human endeavor, has announced that its fall speakers series includes premiere climatologist, Dr. James Hansen. He will be speaking on “Climate Change: The Latest Science.” Dr. Hansen heads the NASA Institute for Space Studies and was the first to create broad awareness of global warming in his Congressional testimonies in 1980s. He will be speaking on October 24 at Wortham Center. The series also includes Gloria Steinem, on Monday, Sept. 17, and Ken Burns, Tuesday, Nov. 13.
