Description: This class is located outdoors in the Westbury Community Garden. You will have an opportunity to see first hand in the garden what and how to plant for the spring and summer vegetable garden. Learn what varieties to plant and when, soil prep, fertilization, seed planting, transplanting and trellising. This class will cover the types and varieties of vegetables that can be planted in late spring through summer. If there is rain predicted, bring a raincoat or umbrella; we will have a large sheltered area for teaching.
