Description: Experienced gardeners know that a great spring and summer garden begins in the winter. Learn what varieties to plant and when, soil prep, seed germination and transplanting. This class will cover the types and varieties of vegetables that can be planted in late spring through summer.

Ray Sher has a large backyard garden where he grows vegetables for the Urban Harvest Farmer’s Market. He has been growing vegetables since about 1991.
