Description: Join us as sommeliers from The Tasting Room in Houston guide us through a comparison of nice wines of several varietals, as well as blind tasting to determine if that expensive California wine is really superior to a much less expensive Chilean. For an instructing exercise, we will test the theory popularized by California vintner Clark Smith that listening to different types of music affects the tastes of different wines. After the fun, relax to beautiful live acoustic music by Houston trio Traveler while you enjoy a selection of cheeses with your favorites from the tasting.
