Oscar Gil

Oscar Gil is a Project Manager at Hewlett Packard (HP) – a global technology company specialized in developing and manufacturing person computing as well as imaging and printing devices. Oscar’s career with HP has been as diverse as his background, supporting major systems deployment in the areas of marketing, supply chain, and finance. Oscar’s relentless passion to drive positive change attracted him to the Social Impact and Sustainability Group at HP, where he created a sustainability chapter in the Houston office where employees enjoy monthly environmental webinars, outdoor volunteer activities such as cleanups, gardening, and educational events a local elementary schools. Oscar’s achievements include the deployment of a ChargePoint stations for electric vehicles, elimination of foam-based products, and the annual Earth Day celebration and vendor fair at the campus, where thousands of employees learned about sustainable practices. Oscar was born in Bogotá, Columbia, and has been living in the heart of the Heights in Houston since 1999. Oscar is also an avid photographer and Toastmaster practitioner.
