Houston City Council Agenda – December 12, 2017
This city will consider the following agenda items at the December 12, 2017, Houston Council Meeting. The agenda items include replacement of lift stations, a natural gas supply agreement, and contracts to repair wastewater collection systems.
3 – Over $5.8 million from the Water &Â Sewer System Consolidated Construction Fund was added to a contract with BRH-Garver Construction L.P. for Post Oak, Stablewood and Buckingham lift stations. Lift stations are facilities that move wastewater from lower to higher elevation, reducing the cost of sewer system construction.
36 – A natural gas supply agreement has been made with Centerpoint Energy Services, Inc for an increase in contract by a duration 1 year and an amount over $6.7 million. The contract was originally made in 2013. The contract has been extended from January 15, 2018 to January 31, 2019.
42 – Over $2.8 million from the Water & Sewer System Consolidated Construction Fund was awarded to the Portland Utilities Construction Company, LLC to repair various deteriorated neighborhood collection systems. The purpose is to reduce sanitary sewer overflows.
43 -Â Over $1.9 million from the Water & Sewer System Consolidated Construction Fund was awarded to the Vaught Services, LLC to repair various deteriorated neighborhood collection systems. The purpose is to reduce sanitary sewer overflows.
