Houston City Council Agenda – October 13, 2015

The City will consider the following agenda items at the November 4, 2015, Houston City Council Meeting:

27- Establishing a program under the Texas Property Assessed Clean Energy (“PACE”) Act of 2013 for City of Houston and its extraterritorial jurisdiction.

30- Approving and authorizing Interlocal Agreement between the City and the HOUSTON PARKS BOARD LGC, INC for the Construction of Improvements at Cherryhurst Park and Gragg Park – $269,000.00
33- Contract between the City of Houston and DENALI WATER SOLUTIONS, LLC (Formerly TERRA RENEWAL, LLC)for On-Site Water Treatment, Sludge Dewatering and Disposal Services for the Department of Public Works & Engineering – $3,174,151.50
43- The purchase of 7,505 square feet of land located at 914 & 916 West Dallas Street, Houston. HPARD currently owns 20,000 sq. ft. of land on West Dallas Street for a future park and desires to purchase this property, located east of the existing land, to expand the park site. $567,070.00
45- Memorial Park Golf Course Netting: replacing the driving range poles on the east side and extending the existing north side poles to create a 100’ height, as well as, replacing all netting at the driving range. $265,5000.00
83- The City of Houston will benefit from an enhanced idling reduction program. It makes it unlawful for an owner or operator of a motor vehicle, with gross vehicle weight rating of more than 14,000 pounds, operated within the city to cause or allow the engine of the vehicle to idle for more than five minutes when the vehicle is not in motion.
85- Hecate Energy will supply the City of Houston with up to 30 megawatts (MW) of renewable solar energy under the PPA from a facility in West Texas. Hecate will deliver the solar energy commencing on or before December 15, 2016 to the City’s current retail electric provider (REP), Reliant Energy Retail Services, LLC. The REP will make arrangements for transmission of the solar energy from West Texas to the City’s meters. 20 Years - $79,603,078.00
