Keeping chickens and ducks as pets is becoming widely acceptable in suburban areas. Come learn the many benefits of keeping backyard poultry along with information about various breeds, housing designs and expected maintenance.
Instructor
Jim Ohmart has been gardening and raising chicken for 30 years. He participates in a neighborhood chicken co- op and he is involved in the community garden and collecting honey from the community beehives. He is a certified permaculture designer.
