Description: You are invited to H-GAC’s May Brown Bag Series presentation, “EcoDriving,” by Mr. Mike
Speck, Senior Trainer for Ecodriving Solutions.

Mike is a former endurance race driver and professional driver coach who now earns his living
as a dynamic speaker and a certified instructor in the process of eco driving as an employee of
Ecodriving Solutions. Not only can he explain the nuances and myriad benefits of ecodriving
theory and practice, but Mike is also well versed in how to apply ecodriving to fleets and
everyday drivers.
Mike’s 20+ years as a driver coach have allowed him to work with a wide range of drivers
ranging from teens to aspiring and current race drivers, and occasionally to people simply trying
to get an adrenaline fix. Mike has also had the privilege to teach several U.S. military special
operations teams the finer points of advanced car control.
Mike’s presentation will cover:
• Benefits of ecodriving
• Genesis of ecodriving theory
• History of Ecodriving Solutions (EDS) and how EDS employees are trained in
ecodriving theory and practicum
• How ecodriving can help fleets
• How ecodriving can help other drivers
• How ecodriving can help cities, counties and states in the U.S. and the world
