Description: The Arboretum is encouraging Houston Gardeners to “Grow Native” with plant sales featuring hard-to-find native plants, grasses, shrubs and trees.

Over 100 Houston area native species are available including:

Trees, Shrubs, Vines, Fern, Groundcovers, Grasses and Meadow forbs, Bog and Rain garden lovers, plus, Shade tolerant plants.

Also available: bags of Leaf Mold Compost and Native Hardwood Mulch from Nature’s Way

Arboretum members receive a discount (10-25%, depending on membership level) on all plant purchases.

Proceeds from this sale support the Arboretum’s education and conservation programs. The Houston Arboretum & Nature Center is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization.
