Description: Texas Meeting Jan. 26 – Deepwater Horizon Trustees Call for Public Input on Gulf Early Restoration
As a courtesy reminder, below we are sharing last month’s news release seeking public input on early restoration of the Gulf after the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. Please note there is a Texas public input meeting at 6 p.m., Jan. 26 in Galveston. The Galveston meeting will take place in the Texas A&M University Ocean and Coastal Studies Building, 1001 Texas Clipper Road. Anyone can also see the draft Phase I plan and submit comments online, per below. Also, be aware that there are no Texas-based restoration projects in this first phase of early restoration. We anticipate there will be Texas-based projects in future phases, with additional comment periods and public meetings for those.
