Description: In a timely guest talk arranged by the Transportation Action Group, Desmond
Startin of Performance Bicycles will be discussing how to gear up for
bicycle commuting. He will address bicycle selection as well as gear that
will make your commute more comfortable and safe, with a focus on
affordability. We will also be reflecting on our very special Permablitz at
the church (come early if you would like a tour), announcing the next event
in the Houston Green Film Series, and hearing about all of the activity in
our Action Groups and Neighborhood Initiatives. As always, we will close
out the meeting with refreshments, conversation, and community!
