After extensive public meetings, volunteer based committees, and public agency input the
Energy Corridor District and the National Park Service proudly announce the completion of
the comprehensive study known as the West Houston Trails Master Plan, a vision for
113,000 acres of West Houston with more than 100 miles of interconnected trails.
Hear public and private speakers in support of the plan; meet volunteers, committee
members, and distinguished guests; enjoy refreshments; and get an 8-page complimentary
summary of the plan for everyone in attendance. A limited number of electronic copies of
the entire plan will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please join us on Friday, April 1 at 2 p.m. at Eldridge Oaks, located at 1080 Eldridge
Parkway, as we celebrate the release the West Houston Trails Master Plan on the adjacent
Terry Hershey Park trail on Buffalo Bayou. This is truly a proud moment for all of Houston.
