Description: Chevron is partnering with Trees For Houston and community volunteers to pot 7,000 tree seedlings provided by Texas Forest Service at Chevron’s Growing Out Center in Humble. This family friendly event brings out hundreds of volunteers from all over the Houston area to help pot native tree seedlings. These trees are watered and cared for by Chevron volunteers year-round. As the trees grow, they are FREE and available to the public to plant areas in need of trees. This fun filled event is a great way to give back to your community and help improve the environment, while having a great time and getting dirty. Plenty of food and drinks will be provided to hardworking volunteers.
