RENEWABLE ENERGY PRESS CONFERENCE TUESDAY

Environment Texas is holding a press conference about the benefits of renewable energy for Houston on Tuesday, July 3, at 11 am. Speakers will include Dr. Bonnie New, Health Professionals for Clean Air; Dr Winifred Hamilton, Baylor College of Medicine; a representative of Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee; Ella Tyler from Citizens’ Environmental Coalition; and Aaron Waldorf from Environment Texas. The event will be at the Sam Houston statue in Hermann Park. There will be 500 pinwheels on the lawn to demonstrate the viability of wind turbines in the surrounding areas.
