KATY PRAIRIE BIO-BLITZ

Experts and novices will take to the field Saturday, April 21 to observe and list as many different living species of animals, plants, fungi, invertebrates, and microorganisms as they can in a 24-hour period. This Bio-Blitz will help in cataloguing the biodiversity of Katy Prairie Conservancy properties as well as raising awareness of the disappearance of the Coastal Prairie and all of the life that depends on this special ecosystem.
