NATURE DISCOVERY CENTER HAS SCIENCE CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS

Elementary school children wishing to attend the Nature Discovery Center’s summer science camps may be able to obtain a scholarship. The ACME Party & Tent Scholarships and the Tilman & Paige Fertitta Scholarship pay for children of needy families to participate in weeklong summer science camps. Scholarship applications are available at the Nature Discovery Center, 7112 Newcastle, Bellaire.

Camps run from 9:30 to 3:30 each day, June 5 through August 18. Topics this summer will be Texas Habitats, Texas Skies, Texas Indians, and Texas Animals. For details, call (713) 667-6550.
