FB-Header-The-RidgeBuilding upon our wildly successful 2016 showing*, the Citizens’ Environmental Coalition is proud to bring the Wild & Scenic Film Festival on Tour, one of the largest environmental film festivals in North America, back to Houston for two nights: January 25 & 26, 2017!
filmfestival2015marquee_smaller_croppedWe invite you to join us at the 2017 W&SFF to be held at the historic River Oaks Theatre, where up to 450 patrons each night will enjoy about ten short films each night highlighting the latest environmental issues. We will be selecting films that showcase the links between beauty, environment, adventure, quality of life, and action.

By showing these films, CEC is working to connect individuals and organizations to create a stronger Gulf Coast environmental community.

For the 2017 showing, CEC will, for the first time, work with the Houston Green Film WSFF LogoSeries to host a screening of films telling local environmental stories. Two of these films will be selected for inclusion in the January 2017 showing of the festival; other films will be shared with a broader audience. More information about this late-fall event will be available soon.

To learn more, please contact rachel@cechouston.org or 713-524-4232 for more information. For the latest scoop, check out the event page on facebook. Tickets on sale in fall 2016.

2017 Sponsorship

We invite you to become a sponsor of this exciting event. Sponsorship is an amazing opportunity to align your organization with our community and inspire people to take environmental action where they live. You will also support almost 130 local organizations that are part of the CEC, and raise awareness for your own green initiatives.
