A virtual public meeting of the Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary Advisory Council will take place from 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 through GoToWebinar. The meeting will not be recorded.
The agenda will open with National Ocean Service’s Acting Assistant Administrator, Nicole LeBoeuf, and will focus on the recent expansion of Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary (FGBNMS). Kathy Broughton from the Office of National Marine Sanctuaries will speak about the upcoming FGBNMS Condition Report, and Fernando Calderón Gutiérrez, FGBNMS Volunteer of the Year, will share his look at “FGBNMS from the Eyes of a Diver Volunteer.”

The public comment period begins at 10 a.m. If you wish to make public comments, you must join the webinar online. Alternatively, during the meeting, you can email your comments to email@example.com and a staff member will read them on your behalf. Public comments will be limited to three (3) minutes per person.
Comments submitted through this meeting will be considered part of the administrative record for FGBNMS Advisory Council meetings.
