This online public meeting is being hosted by the Houston-Galveston Area Council, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and Keep Sugar land Beautiful (KSLB) as part of an ongoing effort to address water quality issues in Upper Oyster Creek.
The Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) is the regional organization through which local governments consider issues and cooperate in solving area wide problems.
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality strives to protect the state’s public health and natural resources consistent with sustainable economic development. Their goal is clean air, clean water, and the safe management of waste.
Keep Sugar Land Beautiful (KSLB) has been providing environmental education and engagement programs for youth and adults since 1999. Their organization provides organization provides educational support for individuals, business, schools, and government on recycling, solid waste reduction, water conservation, clean water, litter prevention, reforestation, and beautification.
