Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the cleanup is from 9 till noon.
Volunteers are asked to wear closed-toe shoes and bring plenty of drinking water. Adopt-A-Beach is also asking that you bring along your own set of gloves as Adopt-A-Beach donated most of our inventory at the onset of COVID-19. Disposable, work, or garden gloves work great! Adopt-A-Beach will provide all necessary materials.
Reservations are required due to COVID-19. Please sign up today, one ticket per person, no group sign-ups available this year. Registration will remain open until the end of the cleanup on April 17th.

It’s time to volunteer again! You know you want to, but you know there are rules, right? So here they are:
- Only a certain number of people will be allowed in each garden area. Be prepared to grow where you’re planted (work where you’re most needed)!
- You must supply your own gloves and tools.
- Park at the education building, not in front of the office.
- If you are more comfortable wearing a face mask, you are more than welcome to.
- Limits on the number of people should allow for 6 feet social distancing. Be mindful of the distance.
- As always, bring adequate sun protection and water.
- If you have been exposed to COVID-19, please quarantine for 14 days before joining Texas Master Naturalists – Heartwood Chapter at the Forest.
Volunteer slots begin at 9 am and end at noon. Contact heartwoodvsp@gmail.com for the latest plans.

The 2021 Conference Planning Committee is putting together a conference that will have health and safety measures in place. American Society of Landscape Architects will have touchless badge registration, chairs in the classrooms will provide safe spacing, and American Society of Landscape Architects are requiring that everyone wear a mask. Hand sanitizer will be located throughout the convention center and in the exhibit hall.
American Society of Landscape Architects are hopeful that we will once again be able to come together in Galveston for a few days of education, networking, and advocacy. In the event that it is determined that it is unsafe to host an in-person conference in April, the chapter leadership and Conference Planning Committee will review alternate dates for 2021 or offer a virtual conference.
Register before March 17, to take advantage of the early bird attendee registration prices.
