Engineers Without Borders monthly meeting @ Online Event

Engineers Without Borders hold monthly chapter-wide meetings, typically on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, to keep their chapter up to date. They also use these meetings as a time to share what’s going on with our project teams as well as collaborate on issues and discuss special topics. Meetings are open to everyone, engineers and non-engineers alike, so call in and get involved!

Houston Climate Protection Alliance Meeting @ First Unitarian Universalist Church

HCPA generally meets the second Sunday of the month, 1:00 PM (possibly 12:30 summer months) to about 1:30, on the second floor (check Sunday activities sheet at front desk for room assignment) at First Unitarian Universalist Church, 5200 Fannin St. at Southmore.  Speakers talk about new developments in climate science and solutions, and we share the ups and downs of being climate activists.  The meeting includes the church’s Climate Action Team, which focuses on how the church community can be part of the solution.

HREG Monthly Meeting @ United Way-Greater Houston

HREG - Own Your PowerAll are welcome to Houston Renewable Energy Group’s monthly meetings! They will have a presentation on an interesting aspect of renewable energy in Houston, review HREG business, progress, and plan events. After the meeting, they usually spend some time socializing and finding out what is happening on the renewable scene in Houston from each other. Monthly Meetings are the best place for members to learn about HREG, ask questions, and provide suggestions.

If you are interested in volunteering or becoming a voting member, attending this meeting would be a great opportunity for you to learn more about what HREG does and how you can help. For more information, contact HREG.
