The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality will work on the following agenda items at the commission work-session scheduled for Thursday, July 1, 2021. Which can be viewed virtually starting at 9:30 AM.
The Commission will receive legal advice from its attorney(s) on pending legal matters, as well as evaluate the employment and duty assignment of TCEQ employees.  .
Public comments will also be allowed, at the discretion of the Commissioners. Registration for public comments at the work-session will conclude at 9:30AM and will require participants to join the session virtually through webinar with the ID 180-748-443.
The Office of the Chief Clerk for the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality will host a public hearing on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 on Tex-mix Partners Ltd’s proposed Air Quality Standard Permit for a permanent concrete batch plant with enhanced controls. The public will be allowed to either participate in, or observe, the hearing virtually. The hearing will begin at 6:00 PM.
The Office of the Chief Clerk for the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality will host a public hearing on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 on BURNCO Texas LLC’s proposed Air Quality Standard Permit for a permanent concrete batch plant with enhanced controls. The public will be allowed to either participate in, or observe, the hearing virtually. The hearing will begin at 6:00 PM.
The Office of the Chief Clerk for the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality will host a public hearing on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 on Port of Corpus Christi Authority of Nueces County’s proposed Water Use Permit, (Application No. 13630) to divert and use water at the San Antonio-Nueces Coastal Basin. The public will be allowed to either participate in, or observe, the hearing virtually. The hearing will begin at 7:00 PM.
The Office of the Chief Clerk for the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality will host a public hearing on Monday, July 19, 2021 on AmeriTex Pipe & Products, LLC’s proposed Air Quality Standard Permit, (Application No. 164317) to authorize the construction of four permanent concrete batch plants in Gunter, Grayson County. The public will be allowed to either participate in, or observe, the hearing virtually. The hearing will begin at 7:00 PM.
The Office of the Chief Clerk for the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality will host a public hearing on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 on Chisholm Trail Redi-Mix, LLC’s proposed Air Quality Standard Permit for a permanent concrete batch plant with enhanced controls. The public will be allowed to either participate in, or observe, the hearing virtually. The hearing will begin at 6:00 PM.
The Office of the Chief Clerk for the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality will host a public hearing on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 on voestalpine Texas LLC’s proposed amendment and modifications to state air quality permits which would authorize modification to the Direct Reduced Iron Hot Briquetting Facility. The public will be allowed to either participate in, or observe, the hearing virtually. The hearing will begin at 7:00 PM.
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality consider the following agenda items at the agenda meeting scheduled for Wednesday, July 28, 2021, which can be viewed virtually starting at 9:30 AM. The Commission will review petitions for enforcement actions and permit considerations; as well as Agreed and Default Orders on issues regarding hazardous waste, waste disposal, water discharge, water supply, water quality, and air quality (among others). Public comments on any matters within the jurisdiction of the TCEQ will also be allowed. Registration for public comments at the agenda meeting will conclude at 9:30AM and will require participants to join the meeting through webinar with the ID 264-324-395.

Item 12: Consideration of an Agreed Order assessing administrative penalties, for water quality violations, and requiring certain actions of the City of Sugar Land in Fort Bend County.
Item 13: Consideration of an Agreed Order assessing administrative penalties, for water quality violations, and requiring certain actions of the City of Deer Park in Harris County.

The public will be allowed to either participate in, or observe, the hearing virtually. The hearing will begin at 7:00 PM.
The Office of the Chief Clerk for the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality will host a public hearing on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 on Ingram Readymix No. 10, LLC’s proposed Air Quality Standard Permit for a permanent concrete batch plant with enhanced controls. The public will be allowed to either participate in, or observe, the hearing at Hill Country Youth Event Center, 3785 TX-27, Kerrville, TX 78028. The hearing will begin at 6:00 PM.
