City of Houston seeks Deputy Assistant Director, Office of Resilience and Sustainability

The City of Houston Office of Resilience and Sustainability is seeking a Deputy Assistant Director. This person reports to the Chief Resilience and Sustainability Officer (CRSO) and assists the CRSO in key departmental priorities which include the strategic implementation of the Climate Action and Resilient Houston Plans amongst other significant initiatives. The DAD will direct and lead implementation of multiple climate and resilience program areas, projects and initiatives. The DAD is expected to proficiently represent the City and the administration with stakeholders and community partners and to staff the Mayor at climate leadership forums. In addition, the DAD will mentor and coach emerging talent and staff in the team, and support the CRSO in strategic communication, organizational management, grants, budget and policy related to resilience and climate action.
