Texas PACE Authority seeks Interns

The Texas PACE Authority administers the Texas’ PACE statute by taking a market-based approach to energy finance and economic development. PACE, or Property Assessed Clean Energy, is an innovative financing program that enables commercial, industrial, large multi-family, and agricultural property owners to obtain low-cost, long-term financing for water conservation, energy-efficiency, and renewable energy projects.

Texas PACE Authority is looking for interns who are eager to learn about working for an environmentally focused non-profit in Texas that manages water and energy efficiency financing programs for local governments.

Interns will be tasked with managing social media, managing a blog, researching,
writing, and assisting with grant proposal development. Data input and analysis, updating
spreadsheets, outreach and education are also regular responsibilities of an intern with TPA.
Skills desired: problem solving, knowledge of Google Suite, comfortable working with
spreadsheets, experience with social media, enjoys research and writing, comfortable with data analysis and data entry, comfortable with or willing to learn about graphics for help with fliers, presentations, etc.

Interns will report to TPA’s Program Manager but may assist any staff on projects as needed.
Hours are flexible (4-10 hours per week) and work is remote. Applicants who reside in Texas
are preferred, but not required. The internship is unpaid, but TPA is committed to helping
