Bayou Land Conservancy seeks mission-driven individuals to join Board of Directors

If you are interested in helping us advance our mission to preserve land in the Lake Houston watershed, and protect the area that provides drinking water for 85% of those living in the Houston area, you may be a good fit for our board of directors.

Consider applying if you are a:

  • Mission-driven individual with a passion for land conservation and environmental stewardship with a belief that all people should be included in our mission, and feel welcome in outdoor spaces;
  • Bridge- builder who knows how to forge strong alliances, build partnerships, and cultivate influence;
  • Person who demonstrates a commitment by making the time to be fully engaged during and between board meetings, contributing financial resources, and showing up for the organization, for other members, and for the mission;
  • Supporter of healthy communities and committed to telling the story of land conservation and the many ways it benefits everyone.

Nominations are open now for board members interested in a 3-year term. Find the full job description and application instructions at bayoulandconservancy.org.
