Armand Bayou Nature Center seeks Animal Care Specialist

The Armand Bayou Nature Center is seeking an animal care specialist to support its animal exhibits which include two North American bison, a covey of bobwhite quail, baby alligators, several venomous and nonvenomous snakes, turtles, frogs, anoles, and soon, a glove trained red-tailed hawk. Duties include caring for live animals, maintaining non-living specimens, maintaining permits for regulated specimens, and performing public educational demonstrations. Prior animal-care experience is required. Prior experience with glove-trained raptors highly desired.For more information and to apply, visit abnc.org.
