The Student Conservation Association is seeking candidates for the Houston Community Partnerships and Engagement program (HCP&E) Environmental Education and Multimedia internship program. Among other duties, interns will conduct environmental education programs and activities for youth aged K-12 residing at Ronald McDonald House or living in environmental justice communities in the Houston region; assist in the development of educational programs and activities on topics such as wildlife, migratory species, habitat, pollinators, and nature in the Houston metropolitan area; and assist with and present programs for Virtually Wild!Texas, a virtual program conducted in the field to share nature with youth who may not have the opportunity to get outdoors. Incumbent will assist with computer and video technology, presentation research and preparation, and on camera presentations. The expected dates are September 19, 2022 to March 19, 2023.
