CEC Welcomes Angie Torres as a Membership Engagement Intern

Angie is a master’s student in Rice University’s Social Policy Evaluation program. She holds an undergraduate degree in Integrative Biology, and her nonprofit work background includes organizing, campaign strategy, and policy research. She is excited about coalition work and hopes to continue her career with a focus on supporting organizational and cooperative effectiveness. In her spare time, Angie loves getting outside, exploring Houston’s vegetarian/vegan food scene, and teaching her rescue cat new tricks.

This summer, Angie will be helping CEC to revitalize membership and coordinate the annual Greater Houston Environmental Summit.
