CEC Welcomes Emily Engelbart as an Environmental Journalism intern

As the new Environmental Journalism intern for the Citizens Environmental Coalition, Emily Engelbart is eager to get started in her new position. She is an incoming Journalism sophomore at The University of Texas at Austin and is pursuing both a Spanish minor and a certificate in Environment and Sustainability.

After graduation, her dream is to create documentaries about a variety of topics related to culture, music, and science. She especially wants to focus her documentaries on environmental topics to protect our planet that is under great threat.

Emily enjoys all things outdoors like hiking, running, and swimming. Additionally, she enjoys traveling, doing puzzles, attending concerts, and enjoying time with friends and family.

Emily is thrilled to contribute to CEC’s mission and gain insight to take with her to her future endeavors.
