Harris County Flood Control District seeks Federal Projects Regulatory Coordinator

The Harris County Flood Control District is hiring a Federal Projects Regulatory Coordinator to coordinate environmental investigations, assessments, permitting, and other compliance activities for all flood control improvement and maintenance projects in assigned watersheds.  This candidate will respond to Environmental Service requests for designated projects and manage subsequent environmental support tasks, including managing consultants, as necessary, to perform designated support tasks, including requesting, reviewing, and approving proposals and bids to perform work and providing quality control and quality assurance of deliverables received from consultants and contractors.  This position supports communications with the public and with environmental organizations and coordinates with other District departmental staff, other local governments, State and Federal governments, and non-profit organizations to facilitate joint use projects within District facilities and will perform other duties that may be added or changed as the course and scope of the job directs. Please visit hcfcd.org and click Search Job Finder to apply.
